How to: Teen makeup (Formal Season)

It's formal season! Learn how to create this look with Renee!

I always ensure to prep the skin, with a clean fresh base this will allow you to create a flawless base. First Base Hydrating Primer is always my starting point, this gives Molly’s skin an instant hit of hydration, not to mention leaving it with a beautiful glow.

A  quick spot conceal using Pink Flesh Mineral Concealer and our brand new Buffer Baton Brush, can I just say this brush is an absolute MUST! The bristles are super soft and the product glides on like satin. Up next is a light layer of Face Base Luminous foundation, I mixed shades C & E to match Molly’s tan. Why do you do foundation first? I like to put a light wash of color on so I can see what shade I am working with.

Molly has the most amazing eyes so we wanted to make them POP! Starting with Mia Matte brown through the sockets, I used this to give some shape and definition. I then used our new Pink Frost Blush on the mobile lid and worked it up into the socket to meet with our transition colour. This Pink is a cool tone with a slight shimmer and it goes perfectly with blue eyes.

Now for a little drama to match Molly’s lashes. I created a slight wing with the liner giving the eye a lift and fusing  it out with Black Sands eyeshadow onto the outer corner of the eyes and smoking it out along the lower water and lash line which gives balance to the eye.

Finishing the base with a little more Face Base foundation and setting it with Mineral Loose Powder in Shade C I then moved to the cheeks. I love to combine Peach Punch Mineral Cream stick together with the Pink Frost Mineral Blush Powder. It creates the most magical color with a glow from within. I press the Peach Punch a little higher on the cheeks and then finish it off with the Pink Frost, placing this on the apple of the cheeks and bringing it up towards the hair line. Whilst we are speaking about glow, using ICE Cream Highlighter stick on the highpoints of the face including the inner corner of the eyes will lighten, brighten and enhance and take your look to the next level.

To perfect the look, I swept Summer Kiss Bronzer through the hairline, jawline, and cheeks creating a little more definition, filled in the brows with our Mineral Pressed Brow Powder in Dark and finishing the look off with Dusty Nude Lip Liner, Ballerina Lipstick and Fairy Lights Gloss.

An absolute doll!
